Additional short course information:
- Note that most courses are two-week courses. One will be taught as a one-week course, and the "Current Topics" are one-day courses. The daily schedule for one-week or one-day courses is 8am to 12 noon, followed by a lunch break, and then continue with afternoon sessions from 12:45pm to 4:45pm each day. The daily schedule for two-week courses is from 8am to 12 noon each day. For the two-week courses, some afternoon study sessions and field trips will be scheduled by your instructor.

Short Course Venues:
On Campus: The short courses are held at the University of Houston in our dedicated seminar room on the second floor of Science & Research Building 1, Room 207. Courses requiring computer applications will be held in our computer Lab in Room 230. This lab has up-to-date computer hardware, including visualization capabilities and industry standard software. The campus is conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Houston and 20 minutes from both major metro airports.
