Welcome to the ICPMS Analytical Research Laboratory
The ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) research laboratory specializes in characterizing the chemical and isotopic compositions of materials, including the ability to provide direct micron-scale analysis of solid samples with the state-of-art CETAC LSX-213 Laser Ablation System. We are capable of analyzing all types of geological rocks (igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks), as well as water, biological and chemical samples. The laboratory is housed in Room 332 of the Science and Research building I. The lab is under the direction of Dr. John F. Casey, and is managed by Dr. Yongjun Gao.
